Different pre-treatment technologies can be used: media filtration, cartridge filters, ultra or micro filtration, dissolved air flotation (DAF), etc. One or a combination of several technologies will be used depending on the raw water quality. The different technologies will require a pump feeding the filtration devices at required pressure.
